It occurs to me that I have no centralised place where I can link to JQuery plugins, tutorials and give my thoughts on them... And why not make it public? So that is what I'll do here.
In the interests of getting this started, I can't be bothered putting this in a database at the moment. But I'm sure that'll come in the future.
JQuery is the foundation of almost all my javascript now. It's so extensible and so widely shared & developed, that everything is simple... and shorter! JQuery UI is JQuery's User Interface project. It has absorbed some of the truly great plugins since it started, and has a wonderful online cusomisation system.
Beyond the huge amount of information that is available at JQuery.com itself (ie: docs & forum), and the various different technical places like StackOverflow & Experts Exchange that have been a wonderful help to me, I have also found the JQuery Visual Cheat Sheet (pdf).
I plan to put something of my own up here at some point. However, most of the things have been developed for clients through my workplace. So, I'm not sure where things stand in that respect. The other thing is that they're often so specific, it's hardly worth the time to add them to the site. On that note however, here is a relevant post re: IE7 & z-index problems fixed with JQuery.
