If you've ever been here before, you'll notice that I've redesigned the site, I have a new domain name, and I've changed the filenames of half the site. (I think I must hate search engines.)

Anyway, this site is a development playground for me. So "Nya!" to search engines. This is also a blog site for my family and I. It is still a work in progress, and I'm developing it when I get time... (Which is the 12th of never really, since I now have two kiddies.)

Oh well, have a read and enjoy what parts of the site exist.

  Mister vs his house

  Like many other people, I live with my family in a house. And now that the number of people out number the number of bedrooms, we've had to make some changes.

  One such change was having disturbed sleep for 14 weeks while Cookie slept in a bassinet at the foot of our bed. Another one is, today, I've had to pack up my drums to make way for Cookies cot. :(

  This has resulted in many tears. It feels like the end of an era. Historians will say; "In the 21st year of his drumming.... he had to pack up his drums...." (The crowds will gasp).

  Ok, so I'm being melodramatic. And it will be wonderful for Red & I to have a full nights sleep - eventually. But I can't honestly remember the last time I didn't have drums set up where I live*.

  Anyway, the deed is done. The drums are down, the cot is up, and Cookie has been introduced to his new bedroom.

  ... I wonder if the drums will look good in the dining room?

  "Delishius!"

  Spud is so cute! Today we make choc-chip biscuits, and when she licked the spoon she said "delishius!" Totally unprompted and unrehearsed.

  Cooking!

  I like cooking! Today mummy and I made 'bikkies' - with cho co late bits in them. Yum!

  What do you mean "My Room"?

  There has been a lot of noise here today. I've only just worked out what is happening. It seems that I'm being evikt... evickded... evicted from my room. And even after I let Mum and Dad sleep in there near me for all this time.

  After I woke up from my lunch time sleep, they put me in the next room in something called a "cot". It's like an all-in-one bed and prison. Mum told me that this was my new bed. I don't really remember what else they said, because I was so hungry.

  Mmm milk...
